What are share care boxes?
Our book donations are intended to comfort displaced children in medical and family crisis. We partner with foster care services, hospitals, domestic violence shelters, disaster recovery groups, and fellow nonprofits that service our target population. We provide individual books as well as our special Share-Care Box. The Share-Care Box comes with three award-winning graphic novel selections uniquely curated with a displaced protagonist that meets new friends and people on their journey to a new place.
How does it happen?
Donations and Grants
97% of the money donated to us goes direcly to our programs, such as share care books. We also have a 27.5% Grant Application Success rate.
Book Suppliers
We partner with major book suppliers, such as Scholastic, to build out large inventories of books to donate.
Community Partners
Our mission wouldn't be possible without the work and dedication of our many community partners, who make it possible for us to reach so many kids in Georgia.
